What is SALT (Servant Action Leadership Team)?
The Bible calls us to be salt and light to this world. We believe that God calls every person to be a servant leader. The SALT (Servant Action Leadership Team) is a rotational program that will allow our Grade 5&6 students to experience serving in different types of ministry. Your student will be able to choose the service hour that they want to serve and their serving rotation will be provided to them where they will serve two out of four weeks in a month. Students will spend a few weeks in a ministry area so that they have a better understanding of what it means to serve God in that way. Please note, not all adult volunteers in each ministry area will be cleared, however, all SALT students will be supervised by cleared SALT Coaches and/or CSC Staff. Drop-in opportunities may be available on weekends or service hours when your student is not scheduled.
SALT start times:
Saturday: 5:45 pm
Sunday: 8:15am
10:15am
