Welcome To East Edge

East Edge is a CSC Regional Centre functioning as a network of Home Churches. Our passion is people, our motivation is mission. We want to take Jesus to where people live in creative, courageous and generous ways.

Key ambitions at East Edge - what we want to be:

Relational - Living an authentic relationship with God among our friends and family; engaging the next generation in real and relative ways

Colourful - Being multi-ethnic and intergenerational; being energetic and edgy in the way we connect with people and live our faith

Simple - keep the bar low on what we do and how we do things so we can easily do them again or never again; grow and move forward organically, naturally, not preoccupied with structures, buildings or programs

Missional - courageously fulfill our purpose of living for Jesus as we do life with others; impacting the city of Calgary as good neighbours and Christ followers

Biblical - stay true to what God has started; live out the story God has described in His Word and treasured in His heart

We believe the best way to do all this is through something we are call 'Home Churches' (please see the Home Church Strategy for more info.) So, East Edge is essentially a network of small churches that gather primarily in homes, committed to doing life and mission together.
