Our Purpose

We exist simply to help create an environment of worship so that people can connect with God. We believe that music has a unique ability to reach further than words alone. It has the power to touch hearts, encourage and challenge those who truly hear it.

A Little Bit About Us

With over 200 members, the Choir and Orchestra is an amateur group whose ages range from early teens to seniors. One of our values is to provide a variety of musical styles from Southern Gospel to Classical to Contemporary.We meet once a week to rehearse and worship together, we worship and provide special music in the weekend services and we perform two major concerts a year (Christmas and Easter). One of the other highlights for this group is the annual tour which happens over a weekend in May. This purpose of this tour is to bless other communities and churches with music.

The Choir is a non-audition group, we welcome anyone who finds it a joy to sing and wants to minister to the Church body. The Orchestra is by an audition basis, please contact us to arrange this.

CSC Choir and the Library!

For all members of the Choir, in the Fall you will need a Library Card to sign out your packet of music. Please visit the Library to obtain a card. Thanks!

Administrative Opportunities

We are always in need of volunteers gifted in the way of Administration. Phone 403.520.6503 if you would be available to help during the day on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays.
