Volunteering

Serving with others as a volunteer is a great way to meet new people and be involved in an activity that has a significant impact on other people's lives. There are a wide variety of ways to use your abilities, experience and spiritual gifts to serve others, whether you are available every week or only occasionally. By serving, you will experience God touching people's lives through you and you will experience God growing you as well.

Volunteer Opportunities beyond CSC

We do not want to just stay inside our church walls - we want to move outside our building and take Jesus into our community and be His hands and feet in Calgary as we serve others. There are so many wonderful ways to serve people in Calgary - whether in your local public school, on your community Board, with your children's sports teams, in a hospice for the terminally ill, or in a volunteer opportunity through the company you work for. Look around in your community for ways you can get involved.Centre Street Church is an official member of Volunteer Calgary, and one of Volunteer Calgary's roles is to bring non-profit organizations and potential volunteers together in mutually beneficial relationships. Check out their searchable database of Volunteer Opportunities in Calgary and see how God leads you to be a light for Him and serve others with no other motive than to bless them with Jesus' love and goodness. Other information can be found at the Volunteer Calgary website.
