7 things you should know about IMPACT!
IMPACTERS are servers! We look for opportunities to be of service to others. ‘This is a giving place, not a getting place.’
IMPACTERS do not focus on their marital status! We have bigger fish to fry! We focus on who we are in Christ…and we focus on others! This is not a singles group as much as it is a people group!
IMPACTERS do not focus on their problems. We acknowledge our heartache and pain…and we seek out counselors, and support groups to help us through the tough times. But when we come to IMPACT we will focus on service to others believing that we are healed when we do!
IMPACTERS are fun-loving! We will have parties and coffee houses…we’ll go to movies and hike the
wilderness. But mostly we’ll have fun serving others!
IMPACTERS are not out to “find someone”. Anybody who comes to IMPACT looking for someone to “hit on” will be shown the door. Sometimes when we show people the door, we forget to open it! You must always feel safe among us! (Note: Having said that, we’ve had a lot of weddings happening…but dating has occurred with IMPACTERS acting wisely and with sensitivity). Campeche?
IMPACT is for everyone…there are no cool people, no beautiful people, no special people…We’re just people who love JESUS and each other.
IMPACTERS are Christocentric (Christ in the midst, first and foremost).
Small Groups Focus
We encourage IMPACTers to join a Small Group in the community where they live. Spiritual feeding, nurturing and accountability are indispensable to having an authentic IMPACT!
