1-1 Discipleship
Are you a new Christian searching for spiritual answers? Are you interested in learning how to develop a relationship with Jesus?
This is an opportunity for a new Christian (Disciple) to be matched up with a more experienced Christian (Disciple-Maker) in order to study, understand and begin to live out the basics of the Christian faith. The Disciple works through the material on their own and then meets with their Disciple-Maker weekly to discuss the material, share comments and questions, and pray together. It usually takes between 4-6 months to work through the material together, and during that time our hope is that the Disciple grows in their understanding and application of God’s truth, begins to read God’s Word and pray on their own, gets baptized, joins a small group of some kind, and becomes connected in several other ways at CSC. Although the formal 1-1 Discipleship match does have a start and end time, sometimes these relationships continue for many years.
