Special Needs Ministry

A Community of Faith and Friendship

We exist as a place where people with special needs and their families are welcomed and included as full participants in the life of the church.

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus and lead people into a growing relationship with God and to provide opportunities for them to experience God’s love through community.

Let’s stay connected! Find ways to stay in touch below.

Parents Small Groups

We have small groups for parents of children (young and old) with special needs that are meeting online. Group leaders are available for one-to-one conversations if you would like. Moms and dads groups meet separately.

Connect with us!

We value connection and want to stay in touch with you this season! We are doing our best to reach out to everyone in our community, so no one feels isolated or alone.

Sunday Class for Adults with Disabilities

Join us on Sunday mornings at the 11AM service as we start our time in the Worship Centre with the congregation. As we move up to our classroom, we will spend time learning about Jesus through Bible lessons and prayer. Come learn about Jesus while building friendships and connecting with others! If in person classes is something you are not comfortable with yet, our online adult zoom class will continue on Sundays at 10AM. If you would like to join the zoom class, please contact us.

Sunday Class for Kids with Disabilities

Come and join us on Sunday mornings at the 11AM service to learn more about Jesus. We offer specially designed classes with dedicated volunteers to ensure a safe and fun environment for your child to learn about Jesus. If in-person kids class is not something you are comfortable with yet, Ministry Boxes continue to be available. Please email us for more information and to sign up.

Children's Ministry 1:1 Buddies

Our 1:1 buddy program, which is part of the Children’s Ministry, is currently  running during the 11am service at Central Campus only. This is an opportunity for kids with disabilities who need extra support in Children’s Ministry. In the 1:1 Buddy Program, kids have the same opportunity to learn about Jesus’ love and to build connections with other children in an integrated setting. Fill out this 1:1 Buddy Form to connect with us about your interest in this.

Keeping Us Safe!

We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while attending our classes and activities. While we are no longer required to wear masks, you are still welcome to wear them. If you aren't feeling well, we ask that you stay home. Please contact us for ways that you can worship and learn about Jesus at home.
