Special Needs Ministry

A Community of Faith and Friendship

We exist as a place where people with special needs and their families are welcomed and included as full participants in the life of the church.

Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus and lead people into a growing relationship with God and to provide opportunities for them to experience God’s love through community.

We are now an online church community!
All on-site groups, events and activities have been postponed until further notice.
Let’s stay connected! Find ways to stay in touch below.

Stay Connected

While the church building is not open and we are unable to be physically present with one another, it is an awesome reminder to us that the church is not a building – it is the people!

We, the church, are still going strong! Now more than ever, we must strive to BECOME the church - to truly be a people who share life together. We strongly encourage you to intentionally connect where and when you can. Our prayer is that we can support one another throughout this challenging time, encourage each other to continue growing in God, and spread the love, joy, hope and peace that can only be found in Jesus!

5 Ways to Connect With Us

1. Weekly Email Update:

Once a week, you will receive an email update from the Special Needs Ministry. Expect to find words of encouragement, stories of hope, resources and links to worship music that will soothe your soul and uplift you during the time that we are unable to meet face-to-face.

2. Facebook Group:

Lifeline: Connecting in Christ and Community.
This group title is based on the scripture verse in Hebrews 6:19: "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure". God is truly our lifeline. When we reach out to other believers, in Christ, in an effort to communicate, support and encourage - it can also serve as a lifeline for us all! We were created for community and everyone is welcome! We look forward to chatting, learning from God's word, worshiping, praising and praying together!

3. Online Bible Study:

Each week, Pastor Corinne will be hosting an online bible study through a
private group link in our Facebook Lifeline Group. For more information and to participate, email

4. Sunday Class on Wednesday:

Lesson plans and activity suggestions for adults and children are sent out each week via email.

Adults can join us for online group ZOOM sessions on Wednesdays at 11 am and Sundays at 10 am. Email to receive a link to attend these meetings.

5. Personal Connections

It is important for us to stay in touch with you during this challenging time!

We recognize that many people in our Special Needs Community are unable to access technology easily (or at all) and may appreciate a phone call.

We are doing our best to reach out to everyone in our community by phone.

If you, or someone you know, needs a special call, please let us know and we will follow up.

There are small groups for parents of children with special needs that are meeting online during this time. The leaders of these groups are also available for one-to-one conversations with parents and have a heart for listening, mentoring and encouraging. If you are interested in connecting, please email and we will provide you with further contact information.
