Grade 5&6 Ministry

Welcome To Grade 5&6 Ministries

Grade 5&6 is designed to connect kids in meaningful community with the hope of them making lasting relationships that will see them through Grade 5&6 and into Youth Ministries. Our desire is to see kids feel a deep sense of belonging within their community. By meeting with each other on a regular basis for teaching, discussion and fun activities we pray that kids will grow in their relationship with God, with their leaders and with each other.

ONLINE

We want our Grade 5&6 students to take the foundational Biblical principles they learned in Children's Ministries, and through discussions and practical application, begin to define what they believe, why they believe, and who they are in Christ.  Check-out our online on-demand content and parent discussion guide.

We want everyone to feel comfortable and safe while they attend Grade 5&6 Ministry.  While students are not required to wear masks, they are still welcome to continue wearing them.

Our prayer is that we will continue to be sensitive to one another's comfort levels, that we would be kind, show compassion, respect personal decisions, and that our interactions would lead with grace and love toward one another.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

We are committed to creating safe environments for you and your family as we gather to worship.  All classrooms, frequently touched surfaces, and shared materials are sanitized between worship services.  We have enhanced our hand washing and room cleanliness protocols to ensure your health and safety continue to be a priority.

Grade 5&6 Leaders will be giving children, parents, and leaders hand sanitizer as they enter ministry areas.

If your child becomes ill/sick during Grade 5&6, they will be moved to a designated isolation area at your campus.  Your 3-digit security number for your family will display on the worship centre screens.  Please go to the Grade 5&6 area and the guest services team will direct you to your child.

The proper health and safety protocols will be followed to ensure limited exposure and proper follow up care.

Alberta Health Services guidelines do not require notification of students, families, and leaders of positive COVID cases.
Our current health policies ensure we notify families/leaders of other health related issues, including:  lice, hand food mouth disease, chicken pox etc.
