Christmas Donations for Families in Need

Our partner agency, Hope Mission, is collecting new items for families in need. Please have a look at the list and see if you might be able to bless someone this Christmas. All donations can be dropped off at Hope Mission.


Collect Items for Families in Need

Our partner- Calgary Pregnancy Care Centre- helps to resource families facing a crisis pregnancy and walks with them. They are looking for these items of donation:
·     Good quality journals for both men and women

·     PJ’s, nightgowns and/or bathrobes for moms
·     Bath and body products for moms
·     Gift certificates to local restaurants
·     Gift certificates for grocery stores (Superstore, Sobey’s Wal-Mart)
·     Packets of bus tickets and gift cards for Checker Yellow Cabs
·     Small toys for 0-2 years
·     Preemie clothes and diapers
·     Baby items (change pads, wash cloths, towels, teething rings)
·     Gift certificates for local activities (Calgary Zoo, Telus World of Science, Leisure centres)
·     Board books for infants and toddlers
These new (not used) items should be brought directly to the Centre. Consider partnering with your small group or missional community to bless someone this Christmas!

Traveling to Mexico?

Take a suitcase with items to donate to one of our trusted partners there! The packed suitcase will be dropped off at your house, and an agency worker will pick it up at the airport. For more information, contact

Teen Challenge

Office Administrator: Provide administrative support, duties may include answering phone calls, handling correspondence, filing, data entry and preparing invoices, photocopying, faxing and mailing, and assisting with the preparation of fundraising events.

Outreach Team Leader: Lead team of volunteers and students during Sunday morning outreaches. Present information about Teen Challenge to the congregation; be engaging and positive; handle receipts, donations and documentation securely; complete all necessary travel paperwork.

Driver: Duties may include provide transportation for various students and outreach teams as required; accurately complete all necessary paperwork, daily logs, vehicle inspection; operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road.

International Student Ministries

Do you and 5 friends love to cook? Make a difference at FOCUS by providing the meal for International Students during their fellowship time.  International Student ministries has a fellowship bible study every Friday and needs occasional teams to provide, serve and clean up the meal. Care Connect Christian Society

Help show the love of Jesus to those in our community who have been marginalized. Care Connect is looking for volunteers to serve by doing:food hamper delivery, data entry, client intake forms.

StreetLight Calgary Drop-In

StreetLight Calgary Drop-In needs volunteers! StreetLight reaches out to at-risk youth in our city. They offer a mobile drop-in centre in the communities of Bowness and the Downtown Core. With your help, StreetLight helps vulnerable youth to make positive life changes and to feel empowered and supported regardless of their situation.

They are looking for volunteers to run the drop-in Mondays, or Tuesdays, or Thursdays from 6:00-9:30pm. They are also looking for truck drivers with an air brake endorsement and experience driving a big rig, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-10:30pm. If interested, please email .
