Designed to equip followers of Christ to care compassionately and support people who are going through life issues.  The morning session focuses on providing tools so that you can meaningfully and safely walk alongside someone who is struggling with ‘stuff’ whether that person is in your small group, your office, your community.   You will learn how to listen effectively, encourage prayerfully and maintain healthy boundaries.  The afternoon session focuses on Communicating with compassion.  This is the art of interacting with people in ways that bring hope and lift the spirit of those in hospitals, nursing homes and those individuals who are facing a terminal illness.
