Job Posting - Counsellors

Camp Hope are gearing up for another busy summer and are looking for individuals who are hoping to serve God in a summer ministry.

Camp Hope is ministry of Hope Mission. We look to serve children from single parent families, foster homes, group homes, recent immigrant families, and those who would not be able to attend camp because of financial barriers. We are situated about 30 minutes west of Calgary on Highway 22, on the banks of the Elbow River. We enjoy a beautiful spruce forest and grassland meadows, with the children having the unique experience of sleeping in teepees. For many of the children, it is the first time that they have really been able to get out of the city to enjoy the wonderful countryside that we have so close at hand. And most important, they are often able to hear for the first time about God's incredible love that he showed us through Jesus.

We are currently looking for female and male counsellors, 18 years of age or older, who have a sound faith in God, a love for his Word, and the maturity to work with children who often come from difficult circumstances. Counselling at Camp Hope is challenging, but also very rewarding, as one can see children who may not have much to hope for, grow in trust and hopefulness that there is more beyond what they have right now.
